Single-topic “bites” that summarize a climate fact, initiative or resource

- designed to help you become knowledgeable and give guidance in addressing climate change.

The Climate is Changing:

  • It is really happening

  • We know it’s us causing it

  • The consequences are very serious

  • But there is Hope.

We are on a journey of a thousand steps to decarbonize our energy supply.

Our mission is to grow people’s knowledge about the Climate, why it’s Changing and what we all can do to Mitigate the cause, and Adapt to the changes.

In the past 200 years we have created extraordinary Health and Prosperity, energized by the use of fossil fuels.

But the unintended consequence has been a huge increase in Greenhouse Gases (GHG) in the atmosphere, causing a warming of our biosphere at an unprecedented rate. To avoid catastrophic Climate Change we must rapidly transition to sustainable energy, and reverse GHG emissions. We already know how to do much of it, and with further human ingenuity we will learn how to create a new cleaner world for the betterment and longevity of all life on the precious planet.

“Men argue. Nature acts.” - Voltaire

“Preservation of our environment is not a liberal or conservative challenge, it's common sense.” - Ronald Reagan

“When the well is dry, we know the worth of water.” - Benjamin Franklin

“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed.”- Mahatma Gandhi

“I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do something I can do.” —Helen Keller

Please see the 2023 IPCC report for the latest assessment of how climate change is impacting us already and what we need to do about it.

Ready to take the next step?

The energy transition requires the actions of thousands, one step at a time: some personal, some as communities, and then some at state, national and global levels. We are all in this together. Our political leaders are starting to provide incentives to help us take action and make the transition.

We all need to understand the imperative, have the vision, and choosing to take the next steps to create that better, sustainable world for future generations.

Let’s share knowledge, insights and new developments in the transition to a sustainable future
