Northern Colorado Partners for Clean Energy “NCP4CE”

NCP4CE is a committee of the Colorado Coalition for a Livable Climate, but retains autonomy with regard to its work with the PRPA and all local initiatives.

NCP4CE seeks to transition Platte River Power Authority (PRPA) and the municipal utilities within the PRPA service area to 100% renewable energy by 2030 or sooner, including pathways such as beneficial electrification and clean transportation. Working with the PRPA board, staff, and the community, NCP4CE focuses on education and advocacy to transition our communities into a clean energy future.

Formed in 2017 NCP4CE has been instrumental in convincing the municipal governments of Longmont, Fort Collins, Estes Park, and Loveland to adopt the goal of 100% renewable electricity by 2030. NCP4CE’s continuing focus is the planning, action deployment and investment necessary to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2030.
